Planning Summer with Youth Voice is an active a fun hands on workshop where participants will have a chance to engage and experience learning activities that will excite and engage young people in planning for summer programming. This includes intentional planning activities for before summer and building in intentional youth voice during summer! Participants will engage in each activity that will support the planning process and have a chance to connect with other participants and share successful youth voice planning strategies.
Learning Outcomes Include:
How to implement planning with youth
Hands on strategies to take back and implement with your teams and students
Understanding how adultism comes into play when limiting creativity
Intentional planning before summer to capture youth voice
Intentional planning before summer to capture youth voice weekly and daily
learning other successful strategies from the experience in the room.
