This your chance to discover hidden gems, have fun with friends, and engage with the community through creativity and curiosity.
How to Participate:- Complete as many photo challenges as you can from the list below.
- Participate as a team: Come up with a unique Bavarian-themed team name (points for the best puns!) and sign up with Benny.
- Elect one person from your team to post your images.
- Your entire team must appear in all photos!
- Share your photos on

#summerlearningdays and
#thegreatbavarianscavengerhunt. Make sure to include your team name in your posts!
- Be creative! Poses, costumes, and fun captions are encouraged.
- Please be respectful of others, local businesses, and natural areas while participating.
Objective: Explore the Bavarian-themed village of Leavenworth and snap creative photos based on the prompts below. Complete the list in teams. Be respectful of people and places. Have fun!
Photo Challenges:- 2 Points: Bavarian Clock Tower – one person on your team must appear to be holding the clock tower in their hands.
- 2 points: Front Street Park Gazebo - Pretend to be a Bavarian band. 1 bonus point for each real instrument featured. 5 bonus points for a real alphorn.
- 2 points: Nutcracker Museum - The Entire team doing their best nutcracker impressions in front of the museum.
- 1 Point: Alphorn - Any depiction.
- 1 Point: Maibaum - Doing a May celebration dance.
- 1 Point: A Pretzel or Bratwurst moment. 1 bonus point for largest pretzel and bratwurst.
- 2 Points: A Lederhosen or Dirndl spotting - 5 point bonus if a team member is wearing said item(s).
- 2 Points: A Biergarten Cheers (Root beer counts!). 1 bonus point if your server agrees to be in your photo.
- 1 Point: Yodeling with the Cascades behind you. 5 bonus points for a video instead of a photo.
- 1 Point: An Alpine Coaster - 5 bonus points if a team member is on the coaster in the photo.
- 1 Point: Reenact any wall mural in front of said mural.
- 1 Point: Oddest Souvenir You Can Find...must purchase.
- 2 points: Heidi and Dallas Photobomb - take a group photo with Heidi and/or Dallas.
- 3 Points: Wenatchee River Institute’s Big Red Barn - creative nature-themed pose.
- 3 Points: The Bridge near The Post Hotel – 3 bonus points for the most creative bridge photo.
BONUS LEVEL:- 5 Points: Bring Benny something from Fudge Hut.
- 5 Points: Team dinner at SOUTH.
- 5 Points: Use your coupon at Kris Kringl
